Children’s Dentistry

As a family run practice in the heart of a growing village we have many families with young children and we love it! A dental visit for children is now something to look forward to and this is exactly what we aim to achieve. Our dentists are friendly and patient with children and we know that this is the best approach to engage them and teach them about their teeth and gums.

We also understand parents often have concerns prior to their child’s visit. Should you have any concerns then please call or come into the practice to discuss these before the appointment to ensure a relaxed and stress free visit.

We provide a range of treatments for children:

• Examinations – checking your child’s dental development and going through oral hygiene advice.
• Fluoride varnish application and higher strength fluoride toothpaste for those who may need it.
• Fissure sealants.
• Pain free fillings and where applicable more complex restorative work such as crowns.
• Orthodontic extractions and referral onto specialist areas of dentistry where required such as for braces.
