Dental pain is widely recognised as being a severe, debilitating acute or chronic pain that can interfere with sleep and your day to day functioning. If the cause is dental infection this can have a negative impact on your body as a whole leading to facial/neck swelling and a raised temperature. Patients should seek dental help immediately. We aim to see all our patients with dental pain within 24 hours of them making contact and often you are seen on the day.
Not a patient with us? We can often help see you on the day for a one-off £150 emergency fee that covers x-rays and treatment to get you out of pain.
Dental pain is not the only thing that may constitute an emergency. Broken a front tooth or lost crown? Had an accident where your mouth and teeth have been involved then get in touch immediately and our reception can provide you with options and get you seen by one of the dentists.
We provide out of hours care (weekends and evenings) for our private patients at a cost of £150. NHS patients requiring an emergency dental appointment out of hours are directed to the NHS 111 service who will provide interim cover until our dentists can see you during practice opening hours.
